How I Work

I work fractionally or as interim COO — typically with Series A to C businesses for three to twelve month engagements. Here's what that looks like in practice.

How an engagement works

We start with a conversation. No pitch, no proposal — just an honest discussion about what's going on in your business and whether I'm the right person to help.


If there's a fit, I'll usually suggest starting with a short diagnostic period — two to four weeks where I get properly under the bonnet. I'll tell you exactly what I'm seeing, what I think needs fixing first, and what good looks like from here.


From there we agree scope, pace, and commitment together. I don't do long rigid contracts or unnecessary overhead. I work the way the business needs me to — sometimes three days a week, sometimes full time through a critical period, sometimes stepping back once the foundations are in place.


Most of my clients come back, or refer someone they know. That's the measure I care about most.
