When growth starts breaking things - I fix it.
Operations falling behind your growth? I come in, stabilise what's breaking, and build the structure for what's next.

Meet Kate.
I'm a doer. I roll my sleeves up, get into the detail, and get things moving —
without losing the people along the way.
Most of my work starts the same way. A founder or CEO reaches out because something isn't working — teams are misaligned, customer experience is suffering, costs are out of control, or the business has just been through a shock. I come in, work out what's actually broken (it's rarely what they think), and build the structure to fix it and scale beyond it.
Over 15 years I've done this across fintech, healthtech, and high-growth SaaS. Most notably leading a $31M ARR healthtech through Chapter 11 — securing $10M in new investment and $6.5M in annual savings, with zero voluntary resignations throughout. Before that, scaling CX for 3M+ customers at Curve, and equity campaigns at Crowdcube for Freetrade, Moneybox, and what3words.
Earlier in my career I led the PR launch of Help for Heroes, raising £6M in under six months. I mention it not because it's recent, but because it's where I learned what's possible when you back something that matters and refuse to let it fail.
I work fractionally or as interim COO — typically Series A to C businesses that need senior operational leadership without a permanent hire.

Customer complaints are rising. Teams are firefighting. Nobody's quite sure who owns what.
You've grown fast and the operations haven't kept up. I come in, find what's actually broken, and fix it — quickly and without drama.
You're launching new markets, adding products, growing headcount. But the processes, the team design, and the operating rhythm haven't scaled with you.
I build the structure that lets you grow without it all falling over.
Restructuring. Funding pressure. A leadership gap. A turnaround.
These moments need someone who's been in the room before — who can stabilise fast, make hard calls with care, and keep the team with you through it.
I'm not an advisor who hands over a report and leaves. I get involved, stay until it's working, and make sure the team can run it without me.
